Typical Caregiver Profiles
People are always commenting that A Family Member HomeCare “has the best Caregivers!” It’s true, we have wonderful Caregivers! We interview 25 or so applicants in order to find the next “right one” who will work well with our senior Clients.
Our Client families often ask us “Where do these Caregivers come from?” “What kind of people are they?” “What kinds of backgrounds do they have?” We have male Caregivers too, but 95% are female, reflecting Client preference. Following are profiles of only four of our Caregivers, but they represent the typical Caregiver profile of an A Family Member HomeCare Certified Caregiver.
Caregiver Profile: Marlene
Marlene is an A Family Member HomeCare certified Home Health Aide. Originally from Bolivia, she has been living in south Florida for eight years. She has been working as a Caregiver now for six years, five of those years for A Family Member HomeCare Clients. In addition to English, Marlene speaks Spanish, German, and Portuguese. She has been working as a Caregiver now for 22 years, eight of those years for A Family Member HomeCare Clients.
